TASSO

The name TASSO has been an established parameter in the Graffiti and Street Art scene for over 25 years. The talented artist quickly became a world-famous superstar and left his mark in 30 countries. He is a role model for a whole generation of painters and fans of the scene.

TASSOs work cannot be determined by a single style or theme. His attachment to his favourite equipment is always perceptible in the work. In his many motifs and scenes we discover caps and aerosol cans. TASSO’s creative process and his predilection for the unexpected often startle the viewer into a dialogue with his artwork.

As the nature of street art is to evolve, so does the artist by looking for innovative ways to develop the typical name writing. Currently he is developing glass-like, transparent letters combined with landscapes or urban scenes. In these works, as well as in his underwater scenes, TASSO plays skilfully with refraction and reflection. With this, the master managed to find a way to combine photoREALISM, Graffiti and MuralArt.

TASSO’s subjects are varied, unadapted and often revolutionary. This is the only way he has managed to maintain himself at the top of the Graffiti and Street Art scene.
